Clock Hour Clause Samples

The CLOCK HOUR clause defines how hours are measured and counted for the purposes of the agreement, typically specifying that an hour means a full 60-minute period as shown on a standard clock. In practice, this clause clarifies whether partial hours are rounded up, down, or not counted at all, and may be relevant for calculating work time, billing, or deadlines. Its core function is to ensure consistency and prevent disputes over time calculations by providing a clear, objective standard for what constitutes an hour.
