CLIENT BENEFIT PROGRAMS Clause Samples
The CLIENT BENEFIT PROGRAMS clause defines the terms under which a client may access or participate in special programs, discounts, or incentives offered by the service provider. Typically, this clause outlines eligibility requirements, the scope of benefits available, and any limitations or conditions that apply, such as timeframes or usage caps. Its core function is to ensure both parties understand the parameters of these programs, thereby preventing misunderstandings and clarifying the extent of the client's entitlements.
CLIENT BENEFIT PROGRAMS. In order to provide a comprehensive coverage at no additional costs, for the Child and/or Child’s biological sibling/s and/or Child’s biological parent/s and/or Child’s biological grandparent/s and/or Additional Member/s (as per the terms in Clause 7.2), as applicable, the Service Provider through its Client Benefit Programs provides additional guarantees, assistance and benefits which are detailed below:
CLIENT BENEFIT PROGRAMS. In order to provide a comprehensive coverage at no additional costs, for the Child and/or Child’s biological sibling/s and/or Child’s biological parent/s and/or Child’s biological grandparent/s (applicable as per the chosen Plan Type) and/or Additional Member/s (as per the terms in Clause 7.2), as applicable, the Service Provider through its Client Benefit Programs provides additional guarantees, assistance and benefits (applicable as per the chosen Plan Type) which are detailed below:
9.1. Entitlement to Full Refund: In rare circumstances, if the Umbilical Cord Blood is not collected for any medical reason which including the unfortunate situation of non-survival of the Child at birth, LifeCell shall refund all fees paid by the Client after deducting any costs as may be incurred by LifeCell with respect to such Client and deducting all the applicable taxes, duties, levies, etc. within 30 (thirty) days upon receipt of relevant written declaration issued by the attending Obstetrician / Gynecologist and sent to LifeCell by the Client. LifeCell reserves the right to verify such a declaration from an independent Obstetrician / Gynecologist and may withhold the refund, if such Obstetrician / Gynecologist has concluded an absence of any medical reason/s for non-collection of the Child’s Umbilical Cord Blood.

9.2. Medical Treatment Assistance for Hematopoietic Stem Cells Transplantation: If after the Enrollment Date and before the completion of the Child’s 21st (twenty-first) birth anniversary, the Child and/or Child’s biological sibling/s and/or Child’s biological parent/s (applicable as per the chosen Plan Type) are diagnosed of medical condition/s treatable using the Child’s own Specimen and/or matched unrelated Umbilical Cord Blood Specimen/s from the LifeCell Registry (applicable only to Community Banking Clients) through an approved hematopoietic stem cell transplantation, then LifeCell shall pay upto ₹2,000,000 (INR Two Million only) to the Client, in order to offset the costs of such stem cell transplantation. In the event that the Child’s own Specimen and/or Umbilical Cord Blood Specimen/s listed on the LifeCell Registry (applicable only to Community Banking Clients) is either no longer available and/or not a suitable match to the patient for stem cell transplantation (in the written opinion of the patient’s transplant physician), then LifeCell will source alternative matched Umbilical Cord Blood Specimen/s from any public stem cell banks worldwide withi...
