Claims Diary Sample Clauses

A Claims Diary clause establishes a formal record-keeping process for documenting the progress and management of insurance claims. This clause typically requires the insurer or claims handler to maintain a chronological log of all significant actions, communications, and decisions related to a claim, such as correspondence with the insured, assessments, and settlement offers. By mandating systematic documentation, the clause ensures transparency, facilitates efficient claims handling, and provides an auditable trail that can help resolve disputes or clarify the status of a claim.
