Common use of Claiming Period Clause in Contracts

Claiming Period. All claims for expenditures related to the Demonstration (including any cost settlements) must be made within 2 years after the calendar quarter in which the State made the expenditures. Furthermore, all claims for services during the Demonstration period (including cost settlements) must be made within 2 years after the conclusion or termination of the Demonstration. During the latter 2-year period, the State must continue to identify separately net expenditures related to dates of service during the operation of the Demonstration on the Forms CMS-64.21U Waiver and/or CMS-64.21UP Waiver.
