Common use of Choice of Law and Consent to Jurisdiction Clause in Contracts

Choice of Law and Consent to Jurisdiction. This Agreement, the performance hereof and all claims of any nature arising out of or as a result of this Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, without regard to the principles of conflicts of law, and any claims between the Conference and the Contractor shall be filed in the federal or state courts or appropriate administrative body located in the State of Alabama. The Contractor consents to personal jurisdiction over the Contractor in the State of Alabama and waives any objection to such jurisdiction.
