Common use of CHIP Claiming Clause in Contracts

CHIP Claiming. All claims for expenditures related to the Demonstration (including any cost settlements) must be made within 2 years after the calendar quarter in which the State made the expenditures. Furthermore, all claims for services during the Demonstration period (including cost settlements) must be made within 2 years after the conclusion or termination of the Demonstration. During the latter 2-year period, the State must continue to identify separately net expenditures related to dates of service during the operation of the Demonstration on the Form CMS-21.
