Chemical Application. Contractor must have assigned to the project at least one employee possessing a California State Qualified Applicator’s License (QAL) through the California Department of Pesticide Regulation, and be registered with the Sonoma County Agricultural Commissioner. All pest control work shall be directed by personnel in possession of a QAL.
Chemical Application. Under the guidelines of 1PM weeds will be controlled in turn grass areas, shrub beds, fence lines, paths, and parking lots.
Chemical Application. Contractor shall be responsible for applying sufficient fertilizer and pre-emergent/pesticide to promote a green, healthy turf. The Contractor shall apply chemicals as follows:
Chemical Application. 4.13.15.1. Furnish all materials, equipment, and labor necessary to apply insecticide, herbicide, anti-desiccant, or other applications necessary to keep plant material in the landscaped areas in a healthy and attractive condition as directed by NYCDOT. 4.13.15.2. Pest/weed control recommendations must be approved by NYCDOT prior to action or application; the Contractor shall provide NYCDOT with all Safety Data Sheets at no additional cost. 4.13.15.3. Insecticides, fungicides, and other materials shall be used in strict accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations and Laws, including City Local Law 37 of 2005. 4.13.15.4. All chemicals shall be applied by a Category 6A Commercial Pesticide Applicator certified by the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, under the supervision of a horticulturalist; required City-permits shall be obtained by the Contractor. 4.13.15.5. Any damage done to plants or structures shall be repaired or replaced at the Contractor’s expense to the satisfaction of NYCDOT; damage includes, but is not limited to, the application of incorrect types of mixtures of chemicals or other actions that result in the death or decline of plant material or discoloration or damage to planter walls and surrounding surfaces. 4.13.15.6. Unit of measurement: per hour (mixing and travel time are not included and shall be considered incidental to this item).
