Check Meter. The Buyer, at its own expense shall design, finance, construct, install, own, operate and maintain a Check Meter (also known as backup meter) of same accuracy as the Main Meter. In case the Main Meter is required to be taken out of the circuit, the Check Meter shall be used for readings taken for the purpose of billing during the period until the primary meter is put back into the circuit.
