Charter school contract Clause Samples
A Charter School Contract is a formal agreement between a charter school and its authorizing body that outlines the terms and conditions under which the school will operate. This contract typically specifies the school's educational mission, performance standards, governance structure, and accountability measures. For example, it may detail student achievement goals, reporting requirements, and procedures for renewal or revocation of the charter. The core practical function of this clause is to establish clear expectations and responsibilities for both the charter school and the authorizer, ensuring accountability and transparency in the school's operations.
