Common use of CHARTER PERIOD Clause in Contracts

CHARTER PERIOD. This Charter Party shall be for the period designated in Box 4, commencing upon the Charterer’s acceptance of the Vessel and continuing until either the date of her redelivery or the completion of the voyage then current, at the Charterer’s sole option. Any option periods shall be in direct continuation; shall be without guaranty at the Charterer’s sole option; and shall be declared as specified in Section I. Optional periods may be declared at any time prior to redelivery of the Vessel.
