Common use of Changes in Project Clause in Contracts

Changes in Project. ‌ OC SAN may at any time, without notice to any Surety, by Change Order, make any changes in the Work within the general scope of the Contract Document, including but not limited to changes: 1. In the Specifications (including Drawings and designs); 2. In the time, method or manner of performance of the Work; 3. In OC SAN-furnished facilities, equipment, materials, services or site; or 4. Directing acceleration in the performance of the Work. No change of period of performance or Contract Price, or any other change in the Contract Documents, shall be binding until the Contract is modified by a fully executed Change Order. All Change Orders shall be issued in accordance with the requirements set forth in the General Conditions, “Request for Change (Changes at CONTRACTOR’s Request)” and “OWNER Initiated Changes”.
