Changes in Classifications. The University shall amend the existing description when a significant permanent change is made to the duties of an existing classification. Where an employee believes that there has been a significant permanent change made to the duties of their classification, the employee will present a particularized request to the Senior Manager of the Aquatic Centre. The Union may present the request on behalf of the employee, or a group of employees. The Parties shall meet to negotiate the rate of pay for such position(s) and should they fail to agree, the applicable rate of pay may be submitted to the Job Classification Umpire under Article 20.04 of this Agreement for resolution by either party.
