CHANGE ACCEPTANCE Sample Clauses
The Change Acceptance clause defines the process by which proposed changes to a contract, project, or deliverable are formally reviewed and approved by the relevant parties. Typically, this clause outlines the steps for submitting change requests, the criteria for evaluating them, and the method for documenting acceptance or rejection—such as requiring written confirmation or sign-off. Its core practical function is to ensure that all modifications are mutually agreed upon and properly recorded, thereby preventing misunderstandings and disputes over unauthorized or unapproved changes.

CHANGE ACCEPTANCE. Upon receipt of a completed Change Request, the recipient Relationship Manager will either (a) expressly accept the proposed modification without qualification within 5 days after its receipt or (b) defer the request for discussion of the next scheduled or emergency status meeting. The Relationship Managers will use reasonable commercial efforts to resolve any deferred proposed modification expeditiously. No proposed Change Request will be effective unless expressly accepted by the primary or alternate Relationship Managers of both parties. If so accepted, the Change Request will be executed by the Relationship Managers of both parties and will then constitute a formal amendment of this Agreement.
