Certification Services Variation Procedure. I4.1 The City Representative and Design Builder Representative may jointly issue a document titled “Certification Services Variation Order Enquiry” to the Independent Certifier which will set out details of a proposed Certification Services Variation which the Parties are considering. I4.2 Within 7 Calendar Days after the receipt of a “Certification Services Variation Order Enquiry”, the Independent Certifier must provide each of the City Representative and Design Builder Representative with a written notice in which the Independent Certifier sets out the effect which the proposed Certification Services Variation will have on the Fee. I4.3 Each of the City Representative and Design Builder Representative may then jointly direct the Independent Certifier to carry out a Certification Services Variation by written document titled “Certification Services Variation Order” which will state either that: (a) the Fee is adjusted as set out in the Independent Certifier’s notice; or (b) the adjustment (if any) to the Fee will be determined under Section I5 of this Independent Certifier Agreement.
