CERTIFICATION REGARDING CERTAIN FOREIGN Sample Clauses
The 'Certification Regarding Certain Foreign' clause requires a party to formally declare or confirm specific facts or statuses related to foreign entities, individuals, or activities. In practice, this may involve certifying that the party is not owned or controlled by foreign governments, is not located in restricted countries, or does not engage in prohibited transactions with foreign entities. This clause is commonly used to ensure compliance with laws and regulations concerning foreign involvement, such as export controls or national security restrictions, thereby helping the contracting parties avoid legal or regulatory violations.
