Common use of Certification/Recertification Clause in Contracts

Certification/Recertification. (a) In addition to the per hour certification premium, during the life of this contract bargaining unit RNs will receive a one-time reimbursement for the exam fee/certification renewal for the successful completion of one approved professional certification/recertification. (b) Requests for payment must be submitted to the department manager along with proof of successful completion of the certification or recertification. (c) Appendix B contains a list of approved professional certifications.
