Certificated Teachers. 3.18.1 All teaching positions covered by this collective agreement shall remain in the bargaining unit for the duration of this collective agreement. 3.18.2 The Board shall continue to employ only certified teachers who are registered with the Ontario College of Teachers for all teaching positions from Junior Kindergarten through to Grade Eight (8) including special education and resource. 3.18.3 Notwithstanding the above, the employment of a teacher on a Letter of Permission shall not extend beyond the school year.
