Common use of Certificate of Destruction Clause in Contracts

Certificate of Destruction. Vendor will provide NTT with a destruction certificate at NTT’s request. Where the deletion or return of the Personal Data is impossible for any reason, or where backups and/or archived copies have been made of the Personal Data, Vendor will retain such Personal Data in compliance with applicable Data Protection Laws.
