CDL Class A Sample Clauses
The CDL Class A clause defines the requirement for an individual to possess a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) of Class A in order to operate certain types of commercial motor vehicles. This typically applies to drivers of large combination vehicles, such as tractor-trailers or semi-trucks, where the combined weight of the vehicle and its towed units exceeds specific regulatory thresholds. By specifying this requirement, the clause ensures that only qualified and properly licensed drivers are permitted to operate these vehicles, thereby promoting safety and regulatory compliance.
