The CDL Class A clause defines the requirement for an individual to possess a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) of Class A in order to operate certain types of commercial motor vehicles. CDL Class A. If the City requests that an employee obtain a Class "A" CDL, the City will reimburse the employee the total fee required in obtaining and/or renewing this license. Such requests shall be made in seniority order. Any time a City employee utilizes the Class "A" li- cense to pull or move a piece of City equipment, that employee shall re- ceive a Two Dollar ($2.00) per hour bonus added to their base rate of pay for a minimum of two (2) hours.
