CCI DEFINITION Sample Clauses

The CCI Definition clause establishes the meaning of the term "CCI" (which often stands for Confidential Commercial Information or a similar phrase) as it is used throughout the contract. This clause typically specifies what types of information are considered CCI, such as proprietary business data, trade secrets, or sensitive financial details, and may outline any exclusions, like information already in the public domain. By clearly defining CCI, the clause ensures that both parties understand exactly what information is subject to confidentiality obligations, thereby reducing ambiguity and helping to protect sensitive business interests.
