Cause for Rejection Sample Clauses

The 'Cause for Rejection' clause defines the specific reasons or circumstances under which a party may refuse to accept goods, services, or deliverables provided under a contract. Typically, this clause outlines objective criteria such as non-conformance to agreed specifications, defects, or failure to meet deadlines, and may require the rejecting party to provide written notice detailing the grounds for rejection. Its core practical function is to ensure both parties have a clear understanding of acceptable standards and the process for addressing substandard performance, thereby reducing disputes and promoting accountability.
