Common use of Catastrophe Clause in Contracts

Catastrophe. In the event of any catastrophic condition presenting, in the sole discretion of the County, an eminent danger to the safety of the inmate(s), the County will inform the Contract Agency, at the earliest practical time, of the whereabouts of the inmate(s) and shall exercise all reasonable care for the safekeeping and custody of such inmate(s).
