Common use of CARPETS Clause in Contracts

CARPETS. (a) Carpets (or other suitable flooring) shall be provided. It shall have a good quality underlay, be clean, of reasonable quality and free from all defects such as excessive wear, loose seams, tainting, bare patches and so on. (b) Laminate or other wooden flooring shall not be acceptable, in flats above ground floor level unless the floor is of a solid concrete construction, because of potential noise disturbance.
