As parents we will: • Take time to understand my child’s abilities and potential and encourage them to have high expectations of themselves. • Be enthusiastic and interested in what my child is learning at school, assisting them with homework, listening to them read and helping them to learn. • Praise my child, celebrating and sharing with school all of their achievements. • Ensure my child completes and hands in their homework on time. PERSEVERANCE As parents we will: • Inform school if my child has any concerns and work with school to support my child in working through challenges. • Encourage my child to work hard to achieve their best and to never give up even when they struggle with different things at school. • Be open to trying new things to help my child to learn and develop. • Ensure my child attends school regularly and punctually and wears the correct and labelled uniform and PE kit. CARING As parents we will: • Support the spiritual life of the school and the Christian values. • Treat staff with care and respect in your dealings with them; Be patient and calm when raising concerns with school • Be loyal and supportive of school and be involved in the wider life of the school. • Support the school by setting clear expectations for my child about the importance of following school rules and living the school values.

The following is a summary of the code of ethics with interpretive statements: Provision 1. The nurse practices with compassion and respect for the inherent dignity, worth, and unique attributes of every person. The nurse must have a high level of respect for all individuals and allow dignity in regard to dealings in care and communication. It's important that patient's/resident’s families are also treated with respect for their relationship to the patient/resident. Nurses must understand the professional guidelines in communications and work with colleagues and patient/resident families. It's important to understand the proper professional relationship that should be maintained with families and patients/residents. All individuals, whether patients/residents or co-workers have the right to decide on their participation in care and work.
