Common use of Cardholder Identification Clause in Contracts

Cardholder Identification. Unless permitted under the Operating Regulations, Laws and Rules, You will not require a Cardholder to provide personal information, such as a home or business telephone number, a home or business address, or a driver’s license number, as a condition for honoring a Card. You shall not require a Cardholder to complete a postcard or similar device that includes the Cardholder’s account number, Card expiration date, signature, or any other Card account data in plain view when mailed. You should not request the Card Verification Value 2 (CVV2) data on any paper order form.
