Common use of Captions; Severability Clause in Contracts

Captions; Severability. The captions, section numbers and index appearing in this Agreement are inserted only as a matter of convenience and in no way define, limit, construe or describe the scope or intent of such sections or articles of this Agreement, nor in any way affect this Agreement. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of this Agreement shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision of this Agreement. In the event that any provision of this Agreement is determined to be invalid, unenforceable or otherwise illegal, such provision shall be deemed restated, in accordance with applicable law, to reflect as nearly as possible the original intentions of the parties, and the remainder of the Agreement shall be in full force and effect.
