Capital Expenditure Commitments Clause Samples

The Capital Expenditure Commitments clause defines the obligations and limitations regarding significant investments in long-term assets, such as property, plant, or equipment, by a party to the agreement. It typically outlines the approval process required before incurring such expenditures, sets thresholds for what constitutes a capital expenditure, and may require prior written consent from certain stakeholders for large investments. This clause serves to control and monitor major financial commitments, ensuring that substantial capital outlays are made transparently and with appropriate oversight, thereby protecting the interests of all parties involved.
