Capacity Development. The CMS Family, Parties and other stakeholders need to address capacity building needs relating to information, awareness, knowledge and understanding as covered in the strategic targets. This is supported in particular by implementation of the CMS Capacity Building Strategy. A further step in this direction is capacity development using the Manual for the National Focal Points for CMS and its Instruments - a capacity building tool to guide the national focal points of CMS and its instruments on their roles and responsibilities, helping them to make a more effective contribution to implementation.
Capacity Development. (a) Provide technical assistance, including international experiences and best practices, to design and conduct a demand-based capacity development program for GZARG and Fangchengang, Chongzuo and Baise Cities in the field of planning and implementation of an integrated and sustainable urban transport system; and (b) Provide technical support including relevant trainings to GZARG and the above mentioned three cities to ensure that the Project will be implemented in full compliance with ADB policy and operational requirements.
Capacity Development. This FFA does not constitute a legal obligation on the part of ADB to commit any financing. ADB has the right to deny any financing request made by India on behalf of the State and ASEB, cancel the uncommitted portion of the Facility, and withdraw the right to request any financing tranche under the Facility. Financing tranches may be made available by ADB provided matters continue to be in accordance with the general understandings and expectations on which the Facility is based and which are laid out in this FFA. This FFA does not constitute a legal obligation on the part of India to request any financing. India has the right not to request any financing under the Facility. India also has the right at any time to cancel any uncommitted portion of the Facility. India and ADB may exercise their respective rights to cancel the Facility or any uncommitted portion thereof, and ADB may exercise its right to refuse a financing request, by giving written notice to such effect to the other parties. The written notice will provide an explanation for the cancellation or refusal and, in the case of a cancellation, specify the date on which the cancellation takes effect.
Capacity Development. Project implementation should include consideration of capacity development aspects for those implementing the projects and those that will subsequently be involved in the operation, maintenance and management of projects.
Capacity Development. The LMU supported the institutional and individual capacity development of the implementing ministries in procurement, project management and financial management wherever necessary. The capacity development is a key component of LMU's scope of work to tackle identified bottlenecks and weaknesses through monitoring activities.
Capacity Development. 29. The Borrower shall cause NHA to accelerate recruitment of professional staff and reduce vacancies of approved posts as they stand on the Effective Date to no more than 10% of such approved posts for each department within two months of the Effective Date. Schedule 6 For the avoidance of doubt, all posts of grade 16 and above shall be considered professional posts for the purpose of this provision.
Capacity Development. Capacity development is a central part of the HACT vision and is a core component of managing risk, rather than just assessing it. Identification of capacity gaps in IPs and plans to address them must be an element of HACT implementation. In this context it is acknowledged that financial management capacity is a cross- cutting, underlying capacity necessary for any IP to effectively contribute to achievement of the programme result. Capacity development work in this context will take place at the IP level, and will be provided through activities targeted to improve specific gaps in financial management capacity. Capacity development is key to achieving the HACT objective of promoting national ownership.
Capacity Development. 6.5.1 Short term technical assistance to the MoH, will be identified on a demand or needs driven basis, and their terms of reference will in effect be formulated according to the MoH priorities in consultation with the Partners
