Canvas. At the moment a pilot is being run for Canvas, which is to replace Blackboard. This pilot is being run at several pre-master programs of TiSEM. The intermediary evaluations which were held have been positive so far. Thus, we are optimistic about the future implementation of this new system. Besides this, it was made clear that lessons have been taken from the OSIRIS implementation and nothing will be implemented without knowing for sure that the system is ready.
Canvas. Canvas is a Web-based Learning Management System (LMS) maintained by Kingston University and available for students at CICM. It contains a wealth of materials to assist you during your time studying at college. Materials placed on this learning management system may include module guides, lecture notes, Powerpoints and other learning aids. Whilst studying at CICM, students receive a user name and password from Kingston that will enable access to this resource and early on during their first weeks at college receive training on the use of the LMS.
