Caller ID Blocking Sample Clauses
The Caller ID Blocking clause allows individuals or organizations to prevent their phone number from being displayed to the recipient when making a call. This is typically achieved by activating a specific feature on the phone or through the service provider, which masks the caller’s identity on outgoing calls. The core practical function of this clause is to protect the privacy of the caller and prevent unwanted disclosure of their phone number.
Caller ID Blocking. Caller ID Block will prevent your name and telephone number from being displayed on the Caller ID equipment of the person you are calling. You can use activate Caller ID Block on a per-call basis for one call only or permanently for all calls.
Caller ID Blocking. Contractor shall provide the means to block the Caller ID information of an outgoing County telephone call on a permanent and/or per call basis. Any line shall be permanently blocked in providing Caller ID information when so ordered by County. All other lines may block Caller ID information on a per call basis by invoking a feature code in the dialing sequence.
Caller ID Blocking. Caller ID Blocking prevents the telephone number from being delivered to the person receiving the call. It does not block information from being forwarded when calling certain telephone numbers, such as 911, 800/888 or 900 numbers. The words "Private" or "Anonymous" appear on the display unit or telephone set display screen when Caller ID Blocking is in effect.
