Called Sample Clauses
The "Called" clause defines the circumstances under which a party or instrument is considered to have been officially summoned, notified, or required to act. In practice, this clause may specify the methods and timing by which notices or calls are deemed effective, such as through written communication, electronic notice, or other agreed means. Its core function is to ensure clarity and certainty regarding when obligations or actions are triggered, thereby reducing disputes about whether proper notice or a call to action has been made.

This list will be maintained for the critical need identified in the approved On-Call Management Plan only. It is not intended to compensate employees for routine staffing needs. The employees on the approved list will not be restricted in their movements, nor will they carry a pager. Employees who are called from the list and come in on short notice while not on-call will receive hourly pay equivalent to twice their hourly rate for a minimum of two (2) hours, travel pay as outlined above, and all applicable differentials. Bargaining unit employees will be expected to remain working on site for the entire two (2) hour period.
