Common use of Calendar Development Process Clause in Contracts

Calendar Development Process. The calendar of any given year shall be developed by a joint committee of three (3) association representatives appointed by the Association President and three (3) administrative representatives appointed by the Superintendent. The committee is to be chaired by an administrative representative. Members of the calendar committee will seek input into the development of the calendar from their respective constituent groups. The committee will consider the input gained and by consensus develop at least two calendar options for the Board to review. The committee may be asked by the Board to develop additional options and/or an optional multi-year calendar process. An advisory vote on the options approved by the Board shall be conducted by the Association. The final decision shall remain with the Board.
