Calamity Pay Sample Clauses
The Calamity Pay clause establishes compensation for employees who are unable to work due to extraordinary events such as natural disasters, emergencies, or other unforeseen calamities. Typically, this clause outlines the conditions under which employees are eligible for such pay, the duration for which it is provided, and any limitations or requirements, such as official declarations of emergency or proof of inability to work. Its core practical function is to provide financial support and security to employees during periods when work is disrupted by events beyond their control, thereby addressing the risk of income loss in exceptional circumstances.
