Common use of Cable System Clause in Contracts

Cable System. ‌ Grantee shall construct a Cable System that is based upon a fiber-to-the-node system architecture, with fiber-optic cable deployed from the Headend through a hub to the node and tying into a hybrid fiber-coaxial system serving Subscribers. Active and passive devices must be capable of passing a minimum of 750 MHz, and the Cable System must be capable of delivering high quality signals that meet, or exceed, FCC technical quality standards regardless of a particular manner in which signal is transmitted. During the term of this Franchise, the Grantee agrees to maintain the Cable System in a manner consistent with, or in excess of these specifications.
