Bus Driver Pay. A. Bus drivers shall be compensated for regular route assignments as designed on the current year Support Employee Salary Schedule. B. Bus drivers assigned to activity trips shall be compensated at the rate of $10.14/hour. C. Bus drivers assigned to activity trips of four (4) hours or more shall receive an additional one dollar and forty cents ($1.40) per hour in lieu of meal expense reimbursements. D. Bus drivers assigned to activity trips shall be compensated for a minimum of one (1) hour of pay regardless of the length of the activity trip assignment. E. Bus drivers reporting to duty for the purpose of beginning an assigned activity trip shall be compensated for one (1) hour of pay if such activity trip is cancelled and the driver had not been notified of the cancellation prior to reporting to work.
