Bulk Cargo Sample Clauses
The Bulk Cargo clause defines the terms and conditions under which bulk goods—such as grains, coal, or minerals—are transported under a shipping contract. It typically outlines requirements for loading, stowage, and discharge of cargo that is not packaged but shipped loose in large quantities, and may specify responsibilities for trimming, cleaning, or segregation. This clause ensures that both parties understand their obligations regarding the handling of bulk materials, thereby minimizing disputes and clarifying risk allocation during the carriage of such cargo.
