Building Setback Lines. If not controlled by zoning regulations, building setback lines appropriate to the location and type of development contemplated shall be established by the Village Board.

In the event that any zoning or subdivision ordinance, floodway regulations or other ordinance, law or regulation applicable to a Lot shall prescribe greater setbacks, then all buildings erected during the pendency of that zoning or subdivision ordinance, floodway regulations or other law or regulations shall conform to said requirements.
