BUILDING INSULATION Clause Samples
The Building Insulation clause sets out the requirements and standards for insulating a building as part of a construction project. It typically specifies the type, thickness, and placement of insulation materials to be used in walls, roofs, and floors, ensuring compliance with energy efficiency regulations and project specifications. By clearly defining insulation expectations, this clause helps prevent disputes over material quality and performance, and ensures the finished building meets thermal performance and regulatory standards.
BUILDING INSULATION. Roof insulation -- provide R-11 rigid insulation on the roof.
BUILDING INSULATION. Tenant improvement interior spaces are to have insulation as follows:
a. Exterior Building walls are to be furred with R-13 batt insulation.
b. Demising walls between conditioned and non-conditioned spaces are to have R-13 batt insulation.
