Budget Modifications. The Applicant will obtain an approved budget amendment when it is anticipated that claimed expenditures will vary significantly from the amount in the current approved budget. A significant variance is an increase of 10 percent (summary of all line items) of the current total approved budget [2 CFR § 200.308(e)].
