BTU Value Sample Clauses

The BTU Value clause defines the required British Thermal Unit (BTU) content of a fuel, such as natural gas, to be supplied under a contract. It typically specifies a minimum and/or maximum BTU value per unit of volume, ensuring the fuel meets certain energy content standards. For example, the clause may require that delivered gas contains between 950 and 1,050 BTUs per cubic foot. This clause ensures consistency in fuel quality, allowing both parties to accurately assess the energy delivered and received, and helps prevent disputes over the adequacy or suitability of the fuel supplied.
