BRC Clause Samples

The BRC clause, often referring to the British Retail Consortium standards, sets out requirements for suppliers to comply with specific quality, safety, and operational criteria in the supply of goods, particularly food and consumer products. In practice, this clause obligates suppliers to maintain certification under the BRC Global Standard, undergo regular audits, and implement corrective actions if non-compliance is found. Its core function is to ensure that products meet recognized industry standards, thereby reducing risk for buyers and ensuring consistent quality and safety in the supply chain.
