Braking System Sample Clauses

Braking System. We will provide a portable braking system to you as part of the goods. The towing vehicle will need a 7 pin flat or round socket fitted and must be in good working order. This must be used when towing our Caravans or Camper Trailers at all times. All indicators and brake lights on the goods must be operational prior to their leaving our premises. We will not be responsible if the towing vehicle does not comply with these requirements and in the case of non-compliance you may, in our discretion, be deemed a 'No Show'.
Braking System. 5.1.1.1. The braking system shall be so designed, constructed and fitted as to enable the vehicle in normal use, despite the vibration to which it may be subjected, to comply with the provisions of this Regulation. 5.1.1.2. In particular, the braking system shall be so designed, constructed and fitted as to be able to resist the corroding and ageing phenomena to which it is exposed. 5.1.1.3. Brake linings shall not contain asbestos. 5.1.1.4. The effectiveness of the braking systems, including the electric control line, shall not be adversely affected by magnetic or electrical fields. This shall be demonstrated by compliance with Regulation No. 10, 02 series of amendments. 5.1.1.5. A failure detection signal may interrupt momentarily (< 10 ms) the demand signal in the control transmission, provided that the braking performance is thereby not reduced.
Braking System. Anti-lock braking system (ABS) pump & control unit, callipers, master & wheel cylinders, pressure reducing & proportioning valves, and vacuum servo.
Braking System. Any irregularity in vehicle or train braking system.
Braking System. All power equipment and vehicle combinations shall have adequate braking systems.
Braking System. 8.1. The braking system shall be full pneumatic electronically controlled, fail-safe dual circuit having four-way protection valve, well ventilated disc type arrangement at front and drum brake at rear, with non-asbestos brake pads. Anti-skid anti brake locking system (ABS), complying a CMVR requirement with non-asbestos type friction material having temperature and wear characteristics necessary for urban driving cycle shall be provided. The buses shall also be provided with hand operated pneumatic flick valve type parking brakes at rear wheels. The air pressure line shall be treated for corrosion resistance. 8.2. Electronic braking control system (EBS), if provided, shall have provision of uniform distribution of braking force on all wheels, contributing to smooth braking, optimizing braking with minimal pedal force thereby reducing driver fatigue. EBS shall monitor brake pad condition, brake pad temperatures, brake pressures and any other crucial parameter for effective performance of brake system under all possible city driving conditions. In the event of failure of the engine and or loss of air in the system, adequate provision should be there for obtaining effectiveness of service brake system and or for deactivating the spring actuated brakes.
