BLANKET PERFORMANCE BOND Clause Samples

A Blanket Performance Bond clause requires a contractor or service provider to furnish a single, comprehensive bond that guarantees the satisfactory completion of all obligations under a contract or across multiple projects covered by the agreement. This bond typically covers the full scope of work, rather than requiring separate bonds for each individual task or project, streamlining the bonding process and reducing administrative burdens. Its core practical function is to provide assurance to the client or project owner that the contractor will fulfill all contractual duties, thereby mitigating the risk of non-performance or default.
