Bituminous Paving Sample Clauses

The Bituminous Paving clause defines the requirements and standards for the installation of bituminous (asphalt) pavement in a construction project. It typically outlines the materials to be used, the preparation of the subgrade, the methods of application, and the quality control measures that must be followed during paving. For example, it may specify the thickness of each asphalt layer, compaction procedures, and testing protocols to ensure durability and performance. The core function of this clause is to ensure that the paved surfaces meet safety, durability, and performance standards, thereby reducing the risk of premature failure and ensuring long-term usability.
