Common use of Bilingual Proficiency Clause in Contracts

Bilingual Proficiency. The City shall pay $1,250 annually, the first pay period in January, for those peace officers conversant in Spanish in order to fulfill their job duty as a peace officer. The following criteria must be met to qualify for the annual incentive pay: Peace officers must initially pass a proficiency examination prepared by the City.
