Bid Phase. Following District’s approval of the construction documents and District’s acceptance of Architect’s final estimate of probable construction costs, Architect shall reproduce the plans, specifications and construction contract documents in the required number and assist District in dissemination of plans, specifications and construction contract documents among interested contractors; in obtaining bids, and in award and preparation of the construction contract and the notice to proceed. Architect shall schedule advertising and bidding sufficiently in advance of the regular meeting of District’s Governing Board to allow time for any bid protest that may arise to be handled in conformance with the approved bid protest procedures.
