BERAVEMENT LEAVE. An employee absent from work because of a death in the employee’s immediate family shall be entitled to receive payment for up to three (3) consecutive work days. The immediate family is defined as the spouse, parents, children, brother, sister, grandchildren, mother-in-law, father-in-law, grandparents, step parents, and step children. An employee may be required to furnish proof of relationship to the deceased. If an employee has a death in the immediate family as defined above that is more than three hundred (300) miles from Cincinnati the shall be entitled to receive payment for up to five (5) consecutive work days.
