Benefit Plans Representatives shall carry out the duties of Union representatives specified in the Pension Plan, the Insurance Program and the Supplemental Unemployment Benefit Plan. Other Union representatives in the plant in which a Benefit Plans Representative has been designated shall not participate in benefit plan matters except insofar as any one of them has been designated to act as the second member of a local committee pursuant to the Supplemental Unemployment Benefit Plan. Duties of the Benefit Plans Representatives are: (a) To function in place of the Chairperson of the Plant Shop Committee for the purposes of Article X Section (3) of the Pension Plan for the plant for which the Chairperson functions.
