Beneficiary Support System Clause Samples
The Beneficiary Support System clause establishes a framework for providing assistance or resources to individuals or entities designated as beneficiaries under an agreement. Typically, this clause outlines the types of support available, such as financial aid, technical help, or access to services, and specifies the conditions or procedures for beneficiaries to receive such support. Its core practical function is to ensure that beneficiaries have clear, reliable access to the support they are entitled to, thereby promoting fairness and effective implementation of the agreement's objectives.
Beneficiary Support System. To support the beneficiary’s experience receiving services in an MCO or ACO environment, the state shall create and maintain a permanent beneficiary support system to assist those beneficiaries in understanding the coverage model and in the resolution of problems regarding services, coverage, access and rights.
Beneficiary Support System. AHS shall ensure that enrollees have access to beneficiary support services as defined in 42 CFR 438.71. AHS shall ensure the independence and conflict of interest requirements in 42 CFR 438.71(c)(2) are satisfied by ensuring that contracts or grants for these activities are managed by staff outside of DVHA and that staff responsible for any beneficiary support system activities report to a department or agency outside of DVHA. AHS will monitor beneficiary support system quarterly reports and take action where systemic issues are identified.
Beneficiary Support System. Family means immediate family members, extended family 26 members, significant others or other supports designated by the Beneficiary.
