Beach Lifeguards. In the case of emergencies and/or rescues, the meal break may be delayed and will be taken as soon as possible, subject to the observance of appropriate occupational health and safety standards. In this instance, no overtime will be payable for the period until the delayed meal break. If required, the taking of meal breaks will be staggered across the work day to allow continuous operation of the Lifeguard duties.
